No Assassin's Creed Demo

Jade Raymond confirms that there is no demo planned for Assassin's Creed. Which has been met by disappointment... by me, at least.

Raymond says they're not doing a demo because Assassin's Creed is a sandbox game. She claims that sandbox games are too hard to make demos for because you can't show off much of the game.

I claim bullshit. Crackdown had a demo. It's a sandbox. And it made Charlie want to buy Crackdown. Give me a demo!

Timers work great on sandbox games. Give us enough time to get into the game and then -bam- take it away so we want more. This is the game about killing the members of that band Creed right? Sounds like a winner.
