Wii Bit O' News

Nintendo announced at their Fall Conference that the Wii will soon allow DS users to download demos. No more going to Gamestop and standing around looking like some creepy older guy trolling for High School girls.

This is a nice little feature that I'm sure will get a lot of use from the community. Also, the Wii has been updated to allow the use of a USB keyboard. Now typing in those friend codes is a lot easier.

Just to be clear... I can still go to Gamestop and troll for High School girls right? I wasn't aware that they hung out at Gamestops. I'll look less creepy there than at the Limeted.

Other, probably way bigger Wii news also just came out. Smash Bros. is getting delayed until January in Japan, with no word yet what that means for America. Oh and Sonic has been confirmed as a playable character. You can ride motorcycles in the next Mario Kart game. And so far the following Wii Ware games have been announced: Pokemon Ranch Channel, Dr. Mario, Maruboushikaku, Minna de Puzzloop, Okiraku Ping Pong Wii, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Star Soldier R, Mojipittan Wii, Bomberman, and Joy Sound. Plus, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata claims they've already received proposals for over 100 titles from software development companies.
