I'm in a Gaming Challenge

So the other day I was over at Rooster Teeth's website and stumbled across a gaming challenge set up by a member over there. I decided to join. It starts at midnight PST tonight, and the person with the most point gain in 30 days wins a year subscription to Gamefly.

I'm already at a disadvantage because out of 26 participants I have the second highest gamerscore right now(and I've already played most of the easy achievement early games).

For those who don't know, the gaming challenges are from Old Spice and 360voice.com. Members set them up and then invite people to compete. The corporate sponsors donate the prizes depending on how many people are involved.

I already beat Fight Night and Madden 06. Are the later Maddens as easy?

I know about Avatar, and I heard that you can get all the TMNT achievements in like 4 hours.

Good luck. I actually just won the gamerscore challenges I as in that was for a year of GameFly. I'm pretty excited. Here's the core of the points I got.

Avatar is the easiest, obviously.

TMNT is about 4 hours on easy. All of the achievements except one are available on the first play thought. The last achievement you can get replaying the first level.

The Maddens after 06 are not as easy, but you could get a good chunk of the points by simulating season on it. Just not all of them.

The basketball 06 games are all really easy as well. That would be NBA Live 20, NBA 2K6, and College Hoops 2K6. Just look over on achieve360points.com for guides on how to get all 1000 for each of these. For the 2K6 ones you can get all the achievements in one game.

King Kong gives all 1000 in one play through, but it is probably
6 to 8 hours.

The new CSI game only has 5 achievements the 1000 points, but I hear it takes about 10 hours. There is a guide for it available too.

Looney Toons: Acme Arsonal on easy has about 700 points for playing through the story as long as you find the hidden statues and gold coins. I'd put it int he 6 hour range (maybe less i you use a guide to find the hidden statues).

Spider-Man: Friend or Foe has around 925 that you can get in one play though if you check each level as you go for the hidden objects. The last 75 requires a little grinding, but not too much. I actually really enjoyed Spider-Man: FoF and it is 2 person co-op for the whole game, split-screen only. It takes maybe 6 or 7 hours for the 925 and a couple more hours for the last 75 points. There is a cheat code online you can find to give yourself a gold boost that still allows you to get achievements. I recommend using it right away when you start to upgrade Spider-Man so that you can fly through the first few levels because you're so much stronger than the enemies.

There is also a good write up here: http://www.gamespot.com/features/6145320/p-2.html
with how to get 6000 easy points. Part of it is what I said, but there are some other games they mention that have easy points.

Good list. Congrats on your win.

I already beat King Kong adn College Hoops 2K6 in the original Rewards Challenge.

I also picked up Eragon and Bionicle Heroes for super cheap. I hear they're pretty easy achievements.

I also plan on using this as an excuse to go back and get the achievements I've been meaning to get on some previous games: Enchanted Arms, Two Worlds, Shivering Isles, Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, Bioshock and some more.

After the first day, I was in second place after getting 320 points from Eragon.

Yesterday, I played NBA 2K6 and got 4 achievements for a 750 point gain(although I don't know why I got 4, it looked like I should have only gotten two of them).

Now I'm in first place, but it's pretty close and there's still a lot of time left(plus I've got a lot of real world work to do).
