GTAV IV DLC Revealed

Microsoft has finally revealed what they paid Rockstar all that money for in GTA IV. Apparently, the downloadable content that will be available for Grand Theft Auto IV on the Xbox 360 only is the size and scope of Vice City or San Andreas.

I think this makes the 360 version the clear winner. If the DLC really is equal to a whole other game, that's pretty impressive.

I know that even without the DLC, I'm looking forward to GTA IV's release on April 29th.

Edit: This story turns out not to be confirmed by Microsoft. It is based off of the musings of a blogger at the GDC who made it appear as if this was fact when it was just his speculation.

Dead Rising 2 Rumor

A few whispers are hitting the nets about the sequel to a game I love: Dead Rising. Rumors say that Dead Rising 2 might make an appearance at TGS(Tokyo Game Show) which will be held September 20th-23rd. Rumors also say it may not be an Xbox 360 exclusive.

Now there's already fanboys flaming each other over the exclusive issue. Personally, I don't care about it being exclusive. I just want to play it. If Capcom makes it available to more than one console(which they've been talking about being non-exclusive in general for months), that just makes sense because they can make more money. Remember the truth: it's always about money.

For some reason, with this rumor, another one seems to follow it. That Capcom will be releasing Lost Planet on the PS3 as well. Why is this rumor so popular? It could be true, but that wouldn't change the fact that Lost Planet sucks!

Devil May Cry 4 on Xbox

You heard it hear last, Devil May Cry 4 is coming to the Xbox 360 and PC. Capcom is wanting to expand their audience and is no longer keeping the title exclusive to the PS. The game is in production and will launch on both consoles on the same day. I've never played Devil May Cry, but my friend Chris has and he just got an Xbox 360 for Christmas. That works out pretty well for him.

Namco has also followed suit and is releasing Warhammer: Mark of Chaos, Ace Combat 6 and Beautiful Katamari on the Xbox 360 as well. I'm starting rumors that Mario Galaxy will come to both PS3 and Xbox 360, while Halo 3 will also release on the Wii with 33 person MP mode. Boo yaka.
