Obviously this comic is a little different than my normal ones. My tablet pen ran out of batteries while I was working so I found some screenshots that were similar to what I was thinking and used them. I'll try to finish the drawn version when I get some AAA batteries. I wouldn't want to deprive you of art like this:
Anyway, I've been playing Too Human since its release Wednesday. The first mission is pretty easy and you kick some ass. After that, I tend to die... A lot! And it seems weird since I'm supposedly a god. It's also annoying because you can't skip the little scene of the Valkyrie coming to get you or speed it up. It's a nice visual, but after you've seen it 20 times, it gets old.

Comic: One Small Step...
So news hit this week that programmer Jeff Minter accidentally created "procedural" pubic hair with his Xbox 360 dev kit. Procedural basically means that the hairs will always respond to simple rules and the code can be used in different places without copying the code over and over again so they're not just simple 2D or even 3D squiggles. Minter says "They glisten and curl and everything.""
For some reason this caused a big stir on some gaming sites. The kids apparently are crazy for the pubes.
However, I can't see any real use for this new breakthrough. Have there been games that just weren't what they could have been because of no procedural pubes?

Comic: The New PS3
Yes, the comic is somewhat fanboyist. But as I was looking at the 2.40 Firmware update I couldn't help but notice the similarities to features already offered on the Xbox 360.
Today's comic deals with my thoughts on the upcoming 2.4 Firmware update for the PS3.
Trophies - Achievements.
Custom soundtracks - Have been available on Xbox 360 since launch.
In-game XrossMediaBar access - In-game Dashboard access has been available on Xbox 360 since launch.
But these are all good things. They will make the PS3 a stronger platform. I have no problem with the console systems stealing the good things from each other. In fact, I encourage it!

Comic: Welcome Back
So Diablo 3 was announced. It was inevitable that it would come out. The Diablo series is still extremely popular. I think it will do well. However, I don't know if it will do as well as previous Diablos.
My newest comic deals with some of my thoughts about the announcement of Diablo 3. More thoughts after the jump.
Will its old school hack/slash/loot combo attract new gamers? Will it still only be available on PC? Console gaming has risen in popularity while PC gaming has suffered.
On the other hand, no matter how well it does or not, I tip my hat to Blizzard. They're putting out Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 and being true to the games' roots. And let's face it, Blizzard has World of Warcraft. They don't have to put out another game ever again and they're still set for life.

Comic: Betty Ford Clinic Welcomes a New Patient
In Battlefield: Bad Company, you heal yourself over and over again with this injector that injects you with "Life-2". So much so that's it's pretty laughable. Your character, Preston, is definitely going to have an addiction problem.
I've been a fan of webcomics for years. I've always wanted to do some. The problem? I am not a good artist. But I made one anyway(wanted to play with my new pen tablet toy). Enjoy!
