I thought it was a great idea. It was real world incentives to gain gamer points. (For those who aren't already obsessed with them. I am seeking help...) You gain points, you get free stuff. Who doesn't like that?
However, after the first challenge sponsored by Old Spice(which seemed like a poor sponsor for a gaming challenge), there haven't been any more challenges.
What's the deal? Was it a one shot affair? I know they had a lot of problems with people registering and everything with their website crashing and such, but a lot of people are already registered so it shouldn't be as much of an issue.
Come on, Microsoft! We need more challenges!
Just please don't make the reward something like Fusion Frenzy 2 again...

I agree is was fun to win stuff for playing games. To bad last time the prizes stunk.
true dat, i've been purposely avoiding the easy achievement games so that i can play them during the next challenge.
I think the companies discovered that they paid a lot of money to have their logo placed everywhere only to find that it didn't generate any revenue. M$ needs to get companies that make sense to gamers instead of companies that make cologne that your dad wears.
They also make deodorant.
MS has unofficially banned the rewards program. Due to the Xdata as well as a few other xb360 harddrive adapters, it is now possible to boost your score by 10k within an hour.
All you need to do is backup your saved FINISHED game of KingKong to your PC then email it to a friend, let them barrow your XBL account, and they get a free 1000 within seconds.
